Quality
Assurance Program and Warranty
Mission
The mission of the Quality Assurance Program is to monitor the quality
and consistency of products going through our factory. This includes the
continuous evaluation of raw materials, processes and completed goods
to insure that our best efforts are being put forth.
Measures
and Methods
The Quality Assurance Team meets daily to monitor the status of production
in the factory. A system for reporting is in place to identify problems,
delays or other issues that affect the timeliness and quality of production.
Issues are brought up and decisions made in an ongoing effort to continually
improve the quality of our products and service.
Employees
at every stage of production are considered inspectors and the responsibility
for identifying and dealing with issues at the earliest stages is shared
by everyone. Supervisors sign off on each work order to validate the condition
of every item as it passes through their specific department. Once an
order is completed and shipped out, the work order, complete with production
notes and inspection checklist, is filed for future reference.
Even
though the fabrication of parts is done with the aid of computer controlled
systems, products are set up regularly to verify their proper manufacturing
before the item is boxed and shipped. By doing this we have the confidence
that the installers and subsequent users will be satisfied. Feedback from
customers, delivery/installation people, etc. are all appreciated and
needed to help meet our mission of continual improvement. Members of the
QAT travel to various trade shows and other locations to personally set
up the merchandise for the display. This is another way for direct feedback
to play a role in the process.
Limited
Warranty
Creative Elegance warrants its products for a period of one year from
the date of shipment from the factory against defects in material and
workmanship. The improper installation, care and use of its products may
have an adverse affect on them and subsequently void any type of pledge
or warranty. It is the responsibility of the servicing retailer to be
the intermediary between the factory and end user. We will repair or replace
any item determined to be defective during the warranty period provided
it has been used in an appropriate manner. All costs associated with the
transportation, delivery and installation of replacement parts or products
will be at the expense of the authorized dealer involved in the original
purchase.
